The Biggleswade

Stomping up the Sun
2

The nice people at Substack have enabled video uploading Beta for me, so I thought I’d try it out with a live version of The Biggleswade Stomp, as performed early in the morning for the Winter Solstice last year.
I hope you like it, and we are very keen to receive any kind of feedback on the new video function please.

The other reason is because this track is on the Rowan Tree album for which we are celebrating the launch of the CD version this coming Friday in Newport, Isle of Wight at the Music Hub which is located at 98 High Street 7-9pm. (Old Facebook event and tickets link removed)

The album version features some fine violin and bass parts by collaborators Becky Haydock and Geoff Peckham.

Sing 10 minutes a day

In other news, I had a single day off from “sing 10 minutes every day in March” on Saturday for rest and recovery, but that doesn’t make me feel like giving up at all, I just got straight back onto it the next day and recorded a new track for the next public release.

The recently completed Paris EP which is to be called “Et Puis” is due to be released to subscribers on Bandcamp Friday, the first in April, which just happens to be April Fools day!

That’s all for this week, short but sweet and if you are local, I hope to see you on Friday!
