Hi there! I couldn’t work out a practical way of posting the picture quiz answers on Facebook, so I wrote this here instead.
Spontaneous content on my personal profile yesterday attracted a few people who enjoy puzzles. I’ve been working on my setlist for Friday night in Yarmouth, 7.30-9.30 at CHOYD and decided to see what could be done with just the song titles. I ended up with a series of images, some of which are really quite striking, and some are just a little bit bit off. Then it occurred to me to post just the pictures without saying which songs they are, for devilment if you like, or as an entertaining Picture Quiz. This could lead to a discussion about each song or about the image, whatever will be. In the event we had an interesting bunch of guesses, a few of which are correct, some show an understanding of the songs I might include, and follow the clues but just happen to be wrong, and some are way off beam as possibilities for my setlist, but you can see where people have been thinking. This first half has been fun!
So without further ado, here are the answers.
Each picture represents just the title of a song. For the first part, before the interval I’ll be playing nearly all originals, so a lot of the guesswork was fun but not really in the running.
Pictures one - six.
Getting Ready - A tricky one, but apparently it’s a rehearsal room.
Shifting Sands - Obvious when you know, but the random horse- type creatures were an unfair distraction…
Yellow Boat - Yes, there are three but it should still be an easy one.
Full Moon Rising - I don’t know why the moon is so red. Stylish though.
2CV - As easy as Yellow boat
Have you had the Upgrade? - Yeah tricky, some good guesses.

1 Blue - The song is not so well known, but it’s on the next album.
2 Sitting on Top of The World - Literally.
3 When The Waters Rise - Not the one with a lighthouse in it, just using the titles.
4 Roll On The Day - well done the people who got this one.
5 Meet On The Ledge - Nobody got it, an outlier but a literal depiction.
So those are the correct answers, make of them what you will but thanks for paying attention and having a bit of fun. I’ll be publishing the Picture Quiz questions for the second half setlist later on Today (Tuesday) or tomorrow.
